"Lean Management / Kaizen Trainer"

The Lean Alliance is an international network of established companies in a variety of industries. These companies have chosen to implement Lean in all levels of thier organization while simultaneously sharing the experience of their lean transformation with others to reach the status of a Total Lean Enterprise in a holistic and sustainable way.

We are convinced that our customers can only achieve long-term success by means of an implementation of Lean run from the inside. Knowledge of the specific TPS tools can only provide short-term fixes if these tools are not integrated within a continuous improvement process, one which is implemented throughout the entire system, including all supporting functions. All of this needs to be supported by a strategically led management of change, within an environment of trust, where people are the main focus.


Your role

With this in mind, we are looking for  Lean Management/Kaizen Triners to support and coach our customers` Change Managers who have been trained by us. As a trainer and coach you will accompany the Change Managers and their respective management teams through the certification process which comprises trainings and subsequent Kaizen projects. This entire process was daveloped by us expressly for the development of future Lean Managers.

 

 

Your profile

  • During your time as a Lean implementor (whether as a consultant or in industry), you will have garnered several (7-10 min) years of firsthand experience in JIT, Jidoka, Heijunka, Standardization, Takt Time CycleTime analysis in mixed product lines, Kanban, VSM, VSD, one piece flow, visual management, SMED, TPM, OEE, PDCA, Toyota’s Production Preparation Process (3P), TQC, Poka Yoke and Hoshin Kanri, which you can convey to the trainees using real life examples from your own experience.

  • Your work experience ideally includes Service (ie., Healthcare, Sales, Finance, HR, Engineering, Logistics), Purchasing, etc), and Manufacturing (operational production) environments.  Industries like Medical/Hospital, Automotive, and Electronics are strongly preferred.  Telekom, Utilities, Banking, Logistics and Government experiences are also desirable

  • Moreover you have an in depth understanding of the relevant management principles and philosophy initiated by Henry Ford, Dr. Demming, and later evolving into the Toyota way

  • You have a cosmopolitan approach and grew up or currently live in a multi-cultural environment. Ideally you  have international work experience. You are fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French and/or English (This is a prerequisite: Only applications from candidates who fulfill this prerequisite will be taken into consideration). Preferably you also have knowledge of one or more of the following languages, all of which are used in our trainings: German, Chinese, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Russian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Mandarin and Malay.

  • You have completed Six Sigma training (BB certification minimum, MBB recommended) and have 2-4 years of practical application and coaching/mentoring on projects
