Learning to lead the Six Sigma Process strategically as well as initiating and supporting projects

After 2 days of training, the participants will comprehend the benefits and opportunities which the Six Sigma methodology can provide for their company. They will learn the key elements that will ensure a successful implementation, such as roles and responsibilities, communication and motivation. They will understand how to select improvement projects in operational and administrative areas and they will be able to initiate and support them. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the Six Sigma tools and the “breakthrough” strategy will become more apparent to the participant through the use of DMAIC.

  • The history and success stories of Six Sigma as a method of optimization.
  • Six Sigma projects and their effects on performance figures.
  • Key factors within the DMAIC cycle.
  • Basic statistics.
  • Ways to ensure the sustainable implementation of Six Sigma within the organization.
  • Six Sigma terms and definitions.

For Lean Alliance members, we also offer to help organize and moderate the project reviews. We will also be happy to help you during the selection process of your Blackbelt candidate(s).

As a result of our far-reaching Lean experience, we will double-check that your selected projects are worth the comparatively high level of effort demanded by the Six Sigma methodology, in that they cannot be solved by means of a regular Kaizen workshop.

It is often sensible to apply Lean tools during the improvement phase of the DMAIC cycle, and we can make sure you have the right mix of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
